Description

Manage and maintain multi-node Tableau and Qlik environments in a 24/7 support capacity, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Tableau Server 2021.4.x within 17-node clusters on Windows 2019 Server.
• Monitor server activity and usage statistics to manage capacity, optimize performance, and identify enhancements.
• Perform Tableau server patches during non-business hours and troubleshoot Desktop/Server issues.
• Administer Qlik Sense Streams using the Qlik Management Console (QMC).
• Execute performance tuning for Tableau workbooks and extracts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Tableau Server administrator in a Windows environment (version 2020.4 or newer).
• Deep understanding of Tableau Server architecture and processes in clustered environments.
• 3 years of QlikView or Qlik Sense administration experience.
• 2 years of Tableau development experience.
• Proficiency writing PowerShell, Batch, and Tableau scripts.
• Experience using tabcmd for report scheduling and command-line tools for email reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau REST APIs for automation and optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Teradata or BigQuery.
• Experience with Web Connectors, Web Mashups, and development.
