Description

You will administer and maintain Tableau Server environments, including 17-node clusters on Windows 2019.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Tableau Server 2021.4.x and manage multi-node clusters.
• Monitor server activity and usage statistics to identify performance issues and plan enhancements.
• Troubleshoot Tableau Desktop and Server-related issues, providing 24/7 support for the multi-node cluster.
• Configure and administer Qlik Sense Streams using the Qlik Management Console (QMC).
• Apply Tableau server patches during non-business hours and optimize workflows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Tableau Server administrator in a Windows environment (version 2020.4+).
• 2 years of Tableau development experience.
• 3 years of experience administering QlikView or Qlik Sense.
• Proficiency in writing PowerShell and Batch scripts for automation.
• Deep understanding of Tableau Server Architecture and clustered environments.
• Ability to utilize Tableau REST APIs for automation and optimization.
• Experience using tabcmd to schedule and email reports via command line.
• Experience in performance tuning of Tableau Workbooks and Extracts.
• Familiarity with Web Connectors and Web Mashups.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Teradata or BQ.
• Experience with Multi-Node Qlik environment support.
