Description

Manage the implementation, provisioning, and administration of the Tableau Shared Services tenant, ensuring secure and performant data visualization environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop Tableau reports, visualizations, and dashboards using data from various external sources.
• Promote Tableau objects into production environments after executing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) scans for PHI or sensitive data.
• Monitor server performance, identify issues, and terminate processes causing system strain or loops.
• Create dashboard mockups and conduct user validation to meet performance management requirements.
• Collaborate on optimal data designs and contribute to the end-to-end development of service processes and policies.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• 4+ years of experience working with SQL Server.
• Proficiency in creating views and stored procedures within MS SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Experience connecting Tableau workbooks to various relational databases.
• Experience developing web applications or web pages.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Tableau Server Qualified Associate or Professional certification.
• Knowledge of ETL and data warehousing concepts.
