Description

You will manage the end-to-end administration and technical architecture of the Tableau Server environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Tableau Server software, including site creation, upgrades, and patches.
• Manage server performance through clustering, load balancing, and monitoring usage statistics.
• Administer groups, workbooks, projects, database views, data sources, and data connections.
• Oversee the migration of objects, dimensions, and dashboards from development to production.
• Develop and document standards and best practices for Tableau platform administration.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau software (Desktop Pro, Server, Interactor).
• Deep understanding of Tableau architecture and system administration.
• 5+ years of experience in a BI role producing analytical reports, dashboards, and predictive analytics.
• 5+ years of experience architecting stable Tableau solutions for high operational availability.
• 3+ years of expertise in Tableau platform sizing, troubleshooting, tuning, and disaster recovery.
• Proven ability to manage data source migrations to Tableau Server.
• Experience providing training and support to business users on Tableau Desktop and web reports.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with critical timelines.
• 5+ years of experience bridging the technology gap for owners and custodians.
