Manage, tune, and secure Tableau Server environments to ensure high availability and efficient performance.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Tableau Server performance through load balancing, resource utilization, and tuning best practices.
• Oversee content migration between environments while maintaining data integrity and consistency.
• Manage server resources including CPU, memory, and storage allocations to maximize availability.
• Implement caching strategies and manage data staging to improve end-user load times.
• Configure security settings, user roles, and permissions to ensure policy compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Tableau Administrator.
• In-depth knowledge of Tableau Server and its advanced tools.
• Expertise in Tableau Server performance tuning and resource management.
• Proven experience with content migration and data staging.
• Strong background in security administration and user permission management.
• Experience implementing caching strategies to improve performance.
• Ability to collaborate with SRE or technical support teams.
