Description

You will manage the end-to-end administration, installation, and maintenance of the Tableau environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and upgrade Tableau Server environments, including patching and hardware configuration proposals.
• Configure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup/restore processes following best practices.
• Monitor server health, manage extract refreshes, and perform performance tuning.
• Implement security protocols, define data access roles, and manage user permissions and groups.
• Manage Tableau extensions, extension servers, and execute Python code for extensions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Tableau administration and environment setup.
• Proficiency in Tableau Server management and maintenance.
• Experience with Python for running extension code.
• Ability to design and implement high availability and disaster recovery configurations.
• Experience with performance tuning and server health monitoring.
• Familiarity with implementing security best practices and regulatory compliance for data management.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience troubleshooting integration issues with third-party providers.
• Ability to review and update policies to meet evolving business needs.
