Description

You will administer and maintain Tableau Server and Cloud environments to ensure reliable data delivery.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server and Cloud instances, performing upgrades, backups, restores, and performance tuning.
• Manage users, groups, sites, permissions, and projects to enforce data security and governance standards.
• Monitor server health, licenses, jobs, and usage patterns to troubleshoot failures and performance issues.
• Publish, organize, and support Tableau dashboards, data sources, and extracts for business users.
• Create technical documentation, designs, and user guides while providing ongoing technical support.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience administering and supporting Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Tableau Server administration, including user and permission management.
• Proven ability in performance monitoring and server maintenance tasks.
• Experience managing Tableau content, data sources, and enterprise BI security.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
• Ability to provide technical support to enterprise BI users.
