Description

You will administer and maintain Tableau Server and Cloud environments, ensuring performance, security, and availability for enterprise users.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform server maintenance including backups, restores, updates, and topology management.
• Monitor server health, usage patterns, process status, job status, disk space, and Tableau Bridge activity.
• Manage user access, groups, permissions, and roles across sites.
• Organize site content through projects, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to data sources, dashboards, and reports while providing technical support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Tableau Server administration.
• Proficiency in creating technical designs, test cases, and user guides.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop, including creating workbooks and hyper extracts.
• Knowledge of Tableau Cloud operations and licensing.
• Ability to manage data sources and maintain existing dashboards and reports.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing multi-site environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex data and server issues.
