Description

You will administer and maintain Tableau Server and Alteryx Server environments, ensuring platform security, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and monitoring of Tableau and Alteryx platforms.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and SSL/TLS certificate lifecycles.
• Configure authentication and identity management using SAML, Active Directory, and SSO.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, firewall, and performance issues for both servers.
• Automate operational processes and API integrations using PowerShell and Python.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on administration experience with Tableau Server and Alteryx Server.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
• Strong networking and troubleshooting skills for server, application, and user access issues.
• Experience with authentication protocols: SAML, Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Automation and scripting expertise using PowerShell and Python.
• Ability to participate in 24/7 production support and on-call rotations.

Preferred Skills

• AWS experience (EC2, VPC, Networking, Certificate Management).
• Knowledge of GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
