Description

You will serve as a senior technical Data Analyst and liaison between IT staff and business stakeholders to optimize data environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of current client data and reporting dashboards to define needs and provide improvement recommendations.
• Translate business stakeholder requirements into detailed functional requirements, system designs, and technical documentation.
• Develop and manage implementation roadmaps and plans based on assessment results and executive decisions.
• Collaborate with business users to design, develop, and implement financial dashboard reports and new functionalities.
• Establish and document reporting system policies, processes, and procedures for internal and public consumption.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of senior-level expertise in business, data, and report development using Tableau.
• 8+ years of experience conducting data environment assessments and defining financial dashboarding requirements.
• 8+ years of experience presenting assessment results and implementation roadmaps to executive leadership.
• 8+ years of experience acting as a Data Analyst liaison between IT teams and business stakeholders.
• 8+ years of experience writing business and data requirements, including High-Level System Architecture Designs and System Test documentation.
• 5+ years of experience facilitating day-to-day activities to produce reporting deliverables for stakeholder teams.
• 5+ years of experience providing status reports and strategic options to C-level stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience integrating reporting system policies and procedures into organizational workflows.
• Deep fluency in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Data Management and Reporting Development Life Cycle concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in the Public Sector incorporating Tableau business and reporting solutions.
• Tableau Certification.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial modules.
