Description

You will design and develop real-time, public-facing Tableau dashboards focused on municipal finance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards for the DLS program.
• Configure real-time data displays and manage transitions to Tableau Online and Tableau Public.
• Train and guide the reporting team on dashboard best practices, mapping concepts, and data structuring.
• Evaluate and recommend alternative dashboard views and licensing models.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Tableau.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Expertise in Tableau Online dashboard development and publishing to Tableau Public.
• Deep understanding of data joins, data blends, and data structuring for online sources.
• Ability to implement mapping concepts and background map filtering.
• Proven track record of creating functional, interactive visualizations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing technical training and guidance to internal reporting teams.
