Description

You will manage and maintain Business Objects and Tableau Server environments to ensure platform stability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Tableau Server v 2022.X and Business Objects BI Platform 4.2/4.3, including upgrades, patching, and service management.
• Execute migrations of reports, universes, and users across environments using Promotion Management tools and strict change management processes.
• Implement security models by designing user groups, access levels, and folder/object-level restrictions.
• Manage report bursting via InfoBurst, including creating custom queries, delivery templates, and scheduled bursts.
• Monitor scheduled jobs and report bursts, performing troubleshooting for system slowness or job failures.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Tableau Server v 2022.X administration.
• Experience with Business Objects BI Platform 4.2/4.3 administration.
• Proficiency in using Promotion Management tools for environment migrations.
• Hands-on experience with InfoBurst for report bursting.
• Knowledge of SQL DB connection configuration via ODBC and OLE.
• Experience managing user security, groups, and access levels.
• Ability to troubleshoot Tomcat/Apache issues and server trace logs.
• Experience with repository maintenance and SOX compliance auditing.
