Description

You will lead and execute the migration of enterprise reporting from Tableau dashboards to the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing Tableau dashboards, data sources, and underlying logic to map the current reporting architecture.
• Translate Tableau visualizations, calculations, and data connections into equivalent Databricks SQL or notebooks.
• Rebuild KPIs and data models in Databricks using PySpark and SQL, migrating data sources to Delta Lake format.
• Transition or refactor data pipelines feeding Tableau to support Databricks workflows, collaborating with data engineering.
• Validate data consistency and perform functional testing between legacy Tableau and new Databricks reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Tableau development and dashboarding.
• 3+ years working with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Notebooks.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (PySpark) for data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience migrating BI tools or reports to cloud-based platforms.
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and DevOps practices in data environments.
• Experience working with large datasets while ensuring data quality and consistency.
