Description

You will administer the Talend Runtime Platform and manage AWS EMR environments. You own the lifecycle of Talend projects, user access, and licensing while building and maintaining AWS infrastructure components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Talend Runtime Platform, including project setup, user and group management, and license administration.
• Configure and manage clustering on the Talend platform.
• Build and manage AWS EMR clusters from scratch, including topology configuration and auto-scaling.
• Manage AWS infrastructure components including IAM roles, S3 buckets, EC2 instances, EFS file systems, CloudWatch, and security groups.
• Maintain Linux systems using shell scripting.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Talend Administration.
• Deep understanding of Talend Runtime Platform administration.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with AWS EMR administration and Hadoop platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of EMR topology and auto-scaling.
• Familiarity with HDFS commands.
• Proficiency with AWS services including IAM, S3, EC2, EFS, and CloudWatch.
• 12+ years of overall IT experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale data engineering environments.
