Description

You will design, administer, and optimize enterprise ETL workflows and Talend environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL workflows using Talend 7.3.1 and 8.0 to integrate data from APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms.
• Administer the Talend environment, including user management, security setup, and deployment processes.
• Manage Talend Administration Center (TAC) by troubleshooting errors and diagnosing job execution issues.
• Optimize ETL processes for large-scale datasets and integrate workflows with data lakes using Parquet, ORC, or Avro.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Talend development and administration.
• Proficiency with Talend versions 7.3.1 and 8.0.
• Hands-on experience with AWS S3 using S3Input and S3Output components.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and process automation.
• Experience with Apache Spark for big data processing and transformation.
• Ability to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML configuration files.
• Expertise using Talend Joblets for modular and reusable ETL design.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and integration with Talend workflows.
• Experience working within Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience flattening JSON structures for downstream processing.
• Ability to apply patches at the Talend, database, and OS levels.
