Description

Develop and maintain systems within HP NonStop/Tandem environments using C++ and COBOL.

Responsibilities

• Implement low-level threading primitives and manage logic in real-time environments.
• Develop and maintain automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Manage code through versioning tools and continuous integration workflows.
• Apply memory management techniques in non-garbage collected environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in C++ with knowledge of language specifications.
• Hands-on experience with HP NonStop/Tandem.
• Deep understanding of STL containers, algorithms, and the standard library.
• Practical knowledge of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions like friend classes.
• Experience with templating in C++.
• Familiarity with COBOL.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools and continuous integration.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the C++11 standard.
