Description

You will develop and maintain software within HP NonStop/Tandem environments using C++.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain code using C++ and the STL.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Manage code versioning and participate in continuous integration workflows.
• Handle memory management in non-garbage collected environments.
• Develop for real-time environments using low-level threading primitives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and language specifications.
• Hands-on experience with HP NonStop/Tandem environments.
• Thorough knowledge of STL containers and algorithms.
• Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions like friend classes.
• Experience with C++ templating.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools.
• Knowledge of low-level threading primitives and real-time environments.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the C++11 standard.
