Description

You will develop and maintain software solutions for banking applications using Tandem technologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting for banking applications.
• Write secure and high-quality code considering upstream and downstream systems.
• Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot software components within technical products and applications.
• Apply tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve automation value.
• Gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from diverse data sets to identify problems and inform decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Tandem, COBOL, Pathway, SCOBOL, TACL, and SQL.
• Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle and exposure to agile methodologies.
• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Experience applying knowledge of system processes for developing secure, stable code.
• Ability to maintain and debug code in large corporate environments.
• Experience with application development using Tandem Pathway, Batchcom, Netbatch, FUP, KLIST, and Enform.
