Description

Develop and maintain critical applications within a Tandem environment, focusing on fault-tolerance and system integration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop fault-tolerant applications utilizing Tandem PATHWAY.
• Configure and manage PATHWAY environments and servers.
• Customize payment switches based on business requirements.
• Debug processes and analyze save abend files for operational issues.
• Implement system integrations using relevant modern technologies.

Required Skills

• 7-15 years of experience with Tandem systems.
• Strong expertise in authorization switches, specifically BASE24 and Connex.
• In-depth knowledge of Tandem architecture and features.
• Proficiency in programming using TAL and C languages.
• Experience with Tandem utilities: Netbatch, Spoolcom, Enform, FUP, SQLCI, SCUP, DDL, INSPECT.
• Proficiency with TACL commands and creating complex macros/routines.
• Thorough understanding of ISO 8583 standards.
• Hands-on experience with Guardian Procedure calls.
• Understanding of table partitioning and table/views indexing impacts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system integrations using modern technologies.
