Description

Manage and maintain Message Queue infrastructure on HPE NonStop systems to ensure reliable application message exchange.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade MQ software on HPE NonStop systems.
• Manage queue managers, queues, channels, listeners, and other MQ objects.
• Implement security measures including authentication, authorization, and encryption settings.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot delivery failures, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and validate backup processes for Tandem platforms.

Required Skills

• Deep understanding of HPE NonStop systems and MQ concepts.
• Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading MQ software.
• Proficiency in managing access controls, user accounts, and permissions on Tandem.
• Ability to perform capacity planning and forecast message traffic requirements.
• Experience with change management and executing software patches on Tandem.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for message delivery and system-related problems.
• Ability to maintain technical documentation for system configurations and procedures.
