Description

You manage sales and use tax compliance and reconciliation for a retail organization.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales and use tax compliance tasks, including e-filing, data preparation, and return preparation.
• Perform use tax reviews for self-assessment and manage reconciliation processes.
• Handle request approvals and payments related to tax filings.
• Collaborate independently with various team members across the organization.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional work experience in sales and use tax compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business major.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, and COUNTIF.
• Experience within the retail industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work onsite in Bolingbrook, IL on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or Alteryx.
• Experience with account reconciliation, tax research, or licensing.
