Description

You lead complex tax engagements, mentor staff, and drive operational improvements within the tax department.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of corporate, trust, and individual tax returns.
• Manage tax department workflow, deadlines, and staff assignments.
• Oversee quarterly filings, year-end planning, and compliance cycles.
• Mentor and supervise remote and in-office tax professionals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Required Skills

• Active CPA license.
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience, focused on corporate and trust taxation.
• Proficiency in UltraTax, QuickBooks, and tax planning software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Located in or willing to relocate to the Indianapolis metro area.
