Description

Lead software design and hands-on development for Java-based cloud applications. Drive architectural decisions, technical delivery, and team direction while owning Proof of Concept initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead software design and execute hands-on development cycles for cloud-native applications.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures on AWS, including EventBridge, Lambda, and EKS.
• Drive Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to validate new technical approaches.
• Manage technical delivery and provide direction for the development team.
• Integrate systems using Spring Integration, Micro-services, Web Services, and IBM MQ.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software design and hands-on development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a Team Lead capacity.
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with Spring Integration and Micro-services architecture.
• Working knowledge of Web Services and IBM MQ.
• Practical experience with AWS EventBridge, Lambda, and EKS services.
• Understanding of AWS event-driven architecture and Event Tracing for Services (ETS).
• Experience using monitoring tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
