Description

Lead a technical team while remaining hands-on with software development in Antwerp, Belgium. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions and facilitate code reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and manage team workload to achieve targets.
• Write clean, maintainable code through active involvement.
• Implement design changes to improve quality, performance, and cost.
• Evaluate team performance and provide regular feedback.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• 2+ years of team management experience.
• 2+ years of experience working in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency with SQL databases.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB and AWS cloud services.
• Experience working within a Scrum development process.
• Master's degree or PhD.
