Description

You will lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain Python-based software solutions on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day engineering operations and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Define software architecture and implement design changes to improve quality, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Review team code to ensure it is clean, efficient, and maintainable while helping members prioritize tasks.
• Collaborate with content analysts and developers in the US and other global locations.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding function and design and participate in customer meetings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• Proven experience with REST services development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Technologies, including AWS Microservices and AWS SQS.
• Proficiency with RDBMS, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Apache Airflow.
• Experience with Git and Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of XML, DTDs, XPath, PDF, and TIFF formats.
