Description

You will administer the Teamcenter environment end-to-end, managing configuration, maintenance, and security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Teamcenter environment, including server management and health checks.
• Plan and execute Teamcenter installations, migrations, upgrades, and patch deployments across all environments.
• Configure and manage the Teamcenter data model using Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE), defining item types, relations, and workflows.
• Administer users, groups, roles, and access control lists (ACLs) to manage security permissions.
• Troubleshoot complex Teamcenter issues, performing root cause analysis for production problems and user escalations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TCUA) administration.
• Strong proficiency in Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) for data model customization.
• Solid understanding of database concepts supporting Teamcenter on Oracle or SQL Server.
• Proficiency administering Teamcenter on Windows Server and/or Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Shell scripting for automation.
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for system debugging.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle database environments.
