Description

You will lead the design and implementation of application architecture on Azure PaaS platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the modernization and migration of applications to Azure, ensuring optimal performance and configuration.
• Design Azure Landing Zones and provide target state solution architecture.
• Analyze application dependencies and develop migration pathways.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration Teams to ensure adherence to best practices in cloud adoption.
• Manage a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in application architecture.
• Strong expertise in Azure PaaS, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management.
• Proven experience in application modernization and migration to Azure.
• Deep understanding of application architecture patterns such as microservices and API-driven design.
• Experience designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, specifically Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (Azure AKS).
• Strong understanding of security, identity, and access management, including Azure AD and RBAC.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization in cloud environments.
