Description

You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation by defining API specifications and detailed user stories.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects, developers, UX leads, and product owners to establish and deliver technical requirements.
  • Write Swagger specifications for REST APIs in YAML, defining endpoints, operations, parameters, and authentication methods.
  • Develop API payloads in JSON to illustrate request and response communication between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Create detailed back-end and front-end user stories in Jira, including sequence diagrams, data mapping, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze third-party REST and SOAP web services using Postman or SOAP UI.

Required Skills

  • 6-8 years of experience in technical business analysis or systems specification.
  • Proficiency writing Swagger specifications in YAML.
  • Experience creating API payloads using JSON.
  • Expertise in documenting sequence diagrams, call flows, and data mapping definitions.
  • Hands-on experience with Postman and SOAP UI for analyzing XML and REST/SOAP web services.
  • Ability to draft comprehensive user stories in Jira covering UI design, business rules, and API interactions.
  • Experience defining digital workflows, use cases, and swim lane diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of API system integration and error code handling.
