Description

Lead technical solutions and architectural transitions from monolithic to cloud-based microservices. Define roadmaps and develop logical and physical architecture plans for enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and solution architects to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
• Guide development teams through the implementation of microservices and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Mentor project delivery teams on DevOps models, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain current and future-state architecture models while validating new technologies through Proof-of-Concept projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing solutions within the Retail domain.
• Expertise in designing and developing Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud applications.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native application challenges.
• Proven experience transforming legacy monolithic applications into microservices.
• Expertise in RESTful API design using JAX-RS and JSON.
• Experience with event-based and message-driven distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with containers, Docker, and Kubernetes or similar schedulers.
• Knowledge of Amazon ECS or other cloud container services.
• Experience using IaaS and PaaS across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, specifically Postgres or Oracle, and SQL concepts.
• Knowledge of security protocols including SSL and data encryption.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JavaScript, Python, or Angular for single page applications.
• Background in Sustainability or Quality Management System domains.
