Roles and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the hands-on technical expert for the analytics delivery squad; write complex dbt models and lead dbt testing and validation practices.
• Translate Data Vault 2.0 logical models into physical Snowflake tables and automated pipelines, including hubs, links, and satellites.
• Configure and optimize Azure-based data ingestion and orchestration (e.g., Azure Data Factory and data lake patterns) to support reliable daily loads.
• Own CI/CD pipeline execution and code review governance, enforcing version control with Git and consistent coding standards.
• Lead sprint technical planning, unblock engineers, and mentor data engineers through pair programming and pull request feedback.

Skills Required:

• 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience; 2+ years in a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer mentoring capacity
• dbt (modular transformations, testing, and model governance)
• Snowflake (data warehousing and query performance optimization)
• Scalable analytics pipeline delivery using cloud data warehousing patterns
• Deployment/testing governance with CI/CD and disciplined code reviews

Good to Have:

• Azure (experience with Azure data services such as Data Factory and data lake patterns)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
