Description

Own the technical delivery of the analytics squad, leading dbt modeling, Snowflake optimization, and Azure pipeline governance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write complex dbt models and lead testing and validation practices for data transformations.
• Translate Data Vault 2.0 logical models into physical Snowflake tables and automated pipelines, including hubs, links, and satellites.
• Configure and optimize Azure-based data ingestion and orchestration using Azure Data Factory and data lake patterns.
• Own CI/CD pipeline execution and code review governance, enforcing Git version control and coding standards.
• Lead sprint technical planning, unblock engineers, and mentor data engineers through pair programming and pull request feedback.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer mentoring capacity.
• Expertise in dbt, including modular transformations, testing, and model governance.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake for data warehousing and query performance optimization.
• Experience with scalable analytics pipeline delivery using cloud data warehousing patterns.
• Proficiency in CI/CD deployment and testing governance with disciplined code reviews.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure data services such as Data Factory and data lake patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
