Description

Lead the design and development of scalable, store-facing retail systems, balancing 60% hands-on coding with 40% architectural oversight.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build customer-facing applications using Java and Node.js.
• Architect scalable solutions leveraging AWS services, including Managed Kafka Service (MKS), X-Ray, API Gateway.
• Implement microservices and distributed architectures for real-time data handling.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-performing retail systems.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Node.js.
• Proven experience designing solutions in AWS.
• Experience with store-facing or retail systems.
• Solid understanding of microservices and real-time data.
• Experience with Kafka and distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS X-Ray for distributed tracing.
• Background in high-throughput retail environments.
