Description

Lead the technical design, development, and maintenance of embedded software products throughout the full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end development including design, prototyping, testing, and validation for power, performance, and code size.
• Implement and optimize communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and wireless technologies.
• Review code from junior developers to ensure adherence to standard processes and optimal resource utilization.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, QA, and architects to resolve firmware issues and perform system tuning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in architecture, design, and programming within embedded systems environments.
• Expert knowledge of modular software development using C/C++ on embedded platforms.
• Extensive experience with Embedded Linux, including Linux System Programming and application development.
• Hands-on experience with Kernel, uBoot, device drivers, and multi-threaded software.
• Proficiency in industrial and system management protocols: SNMP, Redfish, BacNet, ProfiNet, and EtherNet/IP.
• Ability to read hardware schematics and understand hardware/software interfaces.
• Experience with JTAG debugging, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Proficiency with Git/Subversion, Jira, static analysis, CI/CD, and unit testing tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rust.
• Knowledge of board bring-up processes.
