Description

You will lead data engineering initiatives, translating business requirements into technical execution across AWS and SAP environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Interpret business requirement documents (BRDs) and translate them into technical user stories and implementation plans.
• Define source-to-target mappings and transformation logic in coordination with SAP SMEs and target teams.
• Execute real-world ETL and data engineering implementations using Python and SQL.
• Leverage hands-on AWS experience for infrastructure and data pipeline execution.
• Ensure accurate data modeling to support robust data architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles.
• Strong, execution-focused AWS experience (not certification-driven).
• Proven capability in SQL and Python for ETL and data engineering.
• Hands-on data modeling expertise (mandatory).
• Experience working with SAP systems and coordinating with SAP Subject Matter Experts.
• Ability to work with BRDs to derive technical specifications.
• Graduate degree in any discipline.
