Description

Lead backend engineering efforts by owning the design, development, and maintenance of scalable microservices. Drive technical direction, mentor developers, and ensure code quality across the team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend solutions using Advanced Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Design and maintain microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs for high-throughput systems.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and drive continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct root cause analysis for production incidents, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to define technical roadmaps and system designs.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong expertise in Advanced Java, Core Java, and Spring Framework/Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture and REST API development.
• Solid understanding of system design, design patterns, and scalable application architecture.
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud environments and third-party system integrations.
