Description

You will own the design, delivery, and quality of customer-facing web applications and backend services while leading a small engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design for web applications and microservices, owning the technical roadmap and sprint execution.
• Develop and review front-end (React, Redux) and back-end (Spring Boot) code, enforcing coding standards and testing practices.
• Design and maintain REST/JSON and XML APIs, including integration patterns and contract versioning strategies.
• Drive database design and optimization using relational databases, writing complex queries and migration plans.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management while mentoring engineers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of engineering experience with at least 1 year in a lead or senior role.
• Strong proficiency in React and Redux for front-end development.
• Experience with Spring Boot microservices and REST/JSON API design.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to deploy and operate services on AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS).
• Experience leading small engineering teams and driving technical decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time messaging systems.
• Familiarity with caching (Redis), search (Elasticsearch), and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP) and compliance standards.
