You will lead data modeling efforts across operational and analytical systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models, schemas, and NoSQL structures for integration and message publishing.
• Translate gathered requirements into logical and physical relational data models.
• Manage data definitions, metadata, business glossaries, and data lineage to ensure accessibility.
• Champion enterprise data policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Mentor team members and facilitate design sessions with application developers and business users.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and requirements documentation.
• Expertise in designing logical and physical relational data models for reuse.
• Experience with Inmon and/or Kimball analytical modeling techniques.
• Proficiency designing NoSQL models using XML Schema (XSD), JSON Schema, and Avro.
• Solid knowledge of Data Governance and Management concepts including MDM and Data Quality.
• Experience working in both waterfall and agile development environments.
• Strong ability to adhere to data naming standards and write precise data definitions.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Fluency in SQL and experience with Databricks Delta Lake or Teradata.
• Experience with NoSQL environments like Kafka, Cassandra, MarkLogic, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with REST API resources and modeling tools such as PowerDesigner or Hackolade.
