Description

You will lead the design and development of scalable backend systems and microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems using Golang, PostgreSQL, and Node.js.
• Implement and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries for efficient data retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues across multiple environments.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Extensive experience with Golang development.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and query tuning.
• Strong expertise in Node.js for building RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and containerization.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
