Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of developers in the design, development, enhancement, and support of Mainframe applications.
• Oversee ADABAS database design, optimization, and performance tuning to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
• Drive technical solutioning, architecture discussions, and effort estimations for new initiatives and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, review code, and enforce best practices in Mainframe development.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Support batch processing, job scheduling, and JCL management activities.
• Guide and mentor team members in technical skills, knowledge sharing, and career development.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives where applicable.

Experience Required:

• 8 - 12 years of experience in Mainframe application development and support.
• Strong hands-on expertise in ADABAS database and Natural programming.
• Experience with COBOL, JCL, and batch processing environments.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing deliverables.
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and production support.
• Exposure to data integration tools such as Datastage (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
