Description

Lead the engineering team supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the cloud-based API Gateway infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in managing end-to-end support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
• Own the reliability and performance of the API Gateway infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and security teams to implement API management and security best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase scalability and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of technology management or large program leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with API Gateway services such as AWS API Gateway or Azure API Management.
• Experience managing Docker containers and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, or AWS CloudFormation.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certifications.
