Description

Lead the maintenance, architectural improvements, and support of automation applications built with Java and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural improvements and establish code quality standards for multi-technology applications.
• Manage sprint planning, task prioritization, and backlog grooming for cross-functional development teams.
• Implement system enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, technical problem-solving, and adoption of engineering best practices.
• Strengthen monitoring and alerting capabilities to reduce failures in critical automation processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Expertise in REST API design and development.
• Strong experience with AWS services, including deploying environments via CloudFormation Templates (CFT) and stack sets.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Git, SVN, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
• Hands-on experience with unit and automation testing using JUnit and Cucumber.
• Strong SQL experience and ability to integrate REST APIs across systems.
• Ability to write complex parallel streams and filters in Java for data processing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using AWS SDKs for cloud resource consumption.
