Description

Lead the design, development, and testing of secure, full-stack software applications with a heavy focus on backend API development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug new and existing software systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build applications leveraging AWS services including S3, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, and IAM.
• Collaborate with UX professionals to modernize and improve web UIs using React or Vue.
• Implement secure software development techniques and maintain technical documentation.
• Write and execute unit tests using JUnit 5 and Mockito 5 to ensure application reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically designing and debugging Java and Spring Boot applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS technologies including ECS, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and CDK/CloudFormation.
• Extensive expertise in backend development for REST and Pub/Sub messaging applications.
• Proficiency in event-driven messaging architectures.
• Experience with modern web UI platforms such as React or Vue.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Docker.
• Experience with secure software development life cycle (SSDLC) frameworks and code scanning tools like SonarQube, Veracode, or Wiz.
• Familiarity with analytic tools such as ELK Stack, Google Analytics, or AppDynamics.
