Lead technical development for Java applications, driving design, implementation, and architectural direction for complex systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using Java EE platforms and object-oriented principles.
• Provide technical solutions for complex problems and lead technical direction on onsite-offshore projects.
• Implement common design patterns and ensure code quality across the development lifecycle.
• Apply Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to streamline delivery and operations.
• Mentor team members and oversee technical execution in the Insurance domain.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Team Lead responsibilities and proven Java development expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, Struts, or equivalent J2EE frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, React.js, Redux, and modern frontend technologies.
• Operational knowledge of Openshift, Docker, and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Working knowledge of jQuery, Ajax, JSON, CSS, and HTML for full-stack capabilities.
• Familiarity with ELK stack and logging practices for observability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
