Description

You will lead the design and implementation of distributed data processing systems using Java and Apache Spark.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable big data solutions leveraging the Hadoop ecosystem and Spark.
• Develop and maintain streaming data pipelines with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Define and enforce coding standards, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust solutions independently.
• Drive Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Strong programming expertise in Java with 4+ years of professional experience.
• Proven track record as a Spark developer, including deep understanding of distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data processing tools and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of streaming data technologies and processing techniques.
• Practical experience implementing SDLC and Agile methodologies in production environments.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of code quality.
• Familiarity with additional big data frameworks beyond the core Hadoop stack.
