Description

You will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of microservices and distributed systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and develop solutions to resolve them.
• Lead technical initiatives and cultivate a high performance team environment.
• Drive software development testing using ATDD, BDD, and unit testing frameworks.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Expertise in Java and microservices development.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Tomcat.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically Oracle and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with cloud hosting technologies like PCF and Azure.
• Command of CI/CD tools including Maven, Jenkins, and Chef.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, and Spock.
• Knowledge of event streaming frameworks like Kafka.

Preferred Skills

• Full stack experience with Angular.
• Experience with monitoring solutions like Splunk or Dynatrace.
