Description

Lead Java development and AWS cloud architecture while mentoring the engineering team to deliver high-quality microservices in an agile environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Guide team development and establish software quality standards through coaching and peer reviews.
• Translate business requirements into low-level application designs and microservices.
• Develop, test, and maintain business applications using TDD/BDD and CI/CD practices.
• Manage release deployments and tune integrations between distributed applications.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical problems independently.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, RDS, MSK, IAM, and API Gateway.
• Container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker, including Helm.
• Experience with Kafka for data streaming and messaging.
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Proficiency with JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, and Spring Data.
• Experience with Maven and Git in modern SDLC tooling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RabbitMQ, gRPC, Kinesis, or MQTT.
• Front-end knowledge including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Angular.
