Description

Lead the technical transition from monolithic architecture to cloud-based microservices in the Retail domain.

You will own the release pipeline and architectural integrity of distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and reusable component frameworks.
• Translate functional requirements from business stakeholders into detailed physical implementation plans.
• Mentor delivery teams on DevOps adoption, new technologies, and microservices design patterns.
• Develop and maintain current and future-state architecture models.
• Validate emerging technologies through Proof-of-Concept projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing solutions within the Retail domain.
• Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud applications.
• Extensive experience transforming legacy monolithic applications into microservice-based architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native application challenges and event-based, message-driven distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with containers, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with cloud container services such as Amazon ECS and IaaS/PaaS environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in RESTful API development using JAX-RS and JSON.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of relational databases including Postgres and Oracle, with deep SQL knowledge.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JavaScript or Python.
• Experience developing single page applications using the Angular framework.
