You will design and deliver domain-driven microservices for customer-facing digital experiences.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build domain-driven, event-aware microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Architect greenfield systems, defining service boundaries, data models, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Own production readiness, including SLOs, dashboards, alerting, and incident triage.
• Set API standards, defining versioning, OpenAPI contracts, and resiliency patterns.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to unblock work and land integrated releases.

Required Skills

• 9+ years in backend engineering or equivalent impact.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role on product teams.
• Expert-level Node.js and TypeScript with experience delivering scaled microservices.
• Strong grasp of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architectures.
• Proven experience designing secure, resilient public APIs using OAuth2/OIDC and JWT.
• Production experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native deployment, and observability stacks.
• Demonstrated success leading incident response and driving root cause analyses (RCAs).
• Proficiency with Express, REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL.
