Description

You will lead technical direction and drive complex engineering solutions for large legacy systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues within unfamiliar codebases and large legacy systems.
• Break down large, ambiguous problems into manageable technical tasks.
• Document technical decisions clearly, maintaining strong risk awareness.
• Manage dependency resolution and mitigate version conflicts across projects.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of professional experience.
• Expert knowledge of Java.
• Solid understanding of Spring Framework and Hibernate concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database principles.
• Experience with build tooling, specifically Gradle.
• Strong capability in debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with testing concepts, including JUnit and mocking.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI and ChatGPT integration.
