Description

You will lead architectural decisions, oversee system integrations, and ensure operational reliability for core insurance platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of architectural principles and standard approaches across technical teams.
• Document and design current state configurations for MGU systems including Majesco, SEND, PACE, and NetSuite.
• Lead incident management, root-cause analysis, and complex troubleshooting for production issues.
• Partner with Product Owners and UW Operations to translate business rules into clear user stories.
• Conduct technical reviews with vendors and challenge their architectural thinking.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering, system integration, or IT operations experience.
• 2+ years in a Tech Lead or Senior Engineering role.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python to facilitate vendor discussions.
• Understanding of Property & Casualty or Life/Health underwriting lifecycles and policy management.
• Experience with modern underwriting platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, or Majesco.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
• Knowledge of AI capabilities and their application in insurance systems.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with data privacy, security, and compliance standards in insurance.
